An amazing invitation by Exsus travel to the northernmost capital in the world Reykjavik offered a fantastic insight to this vibrant city. It is the cosmopolitan gateway to the dramatic and varied landscapes that Iceland has to offer.
A stop at the blue lagoon offers guests a chance to enjoy nature whilst soaking up the scenic beauty and breathing in the fresh icelandic air.
A calming experience, and enhanced by a drink of you choice whilst your enjoying the thermal waters. Rosé seemed the perfect choice. The Lava restaurant here is outstanding, and reservations are advisable.

We were thrilled to enjoy a coastal whale watching trip on a rib boat, which was a highlight,, but wrapped up in multiple layers kept us dry and extremely cozy.
This was quickly followed by an amazing helicopter ride over the capital which was simply breathtaking!

We were lucky to have a fantastic guide on our private tour of the golden circle, which is the most popular place for sightseeing. This UNESCO world heritage site is a collection of hot springs, cascading waterfalls and geysers.
Onwards to southern iceland with its thundering waterfalls such as Skogafoss and black sand beaches, we enjoyed Icelandic horse riding, ATV riding, and a glacier hike along with the mesmerising northern lights.

It was a truly magical 5 night trip discovering some of the breathtaking excursions and sights that the country has to offer. It is the perfect destination, for wildlife, photography, nature and great for families too!
